We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Tech Project Manager to join our PropTech Team.

As a Tech Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing technology projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initiation to completion. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your role also encompasses staying proactive in staying up to date with the latest technologies. Actively seeking knowledge and staying informed about industry trends will be essential in driving innovation and maintaining a competitive edge. Additionally, your ability to add value to the team by sharing your knowledge and implementing new technologies in an agile manner will contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of the team. What will I be doing?

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
  • Coordinate teams and resources to ensure project completion within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3-4 technology project professionals.
  • Optimize team performance and outcomes through effective resource allocation and scheduling.

Project Oversight:

  • Supervise all stages of project life cycles, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Provide regular status updates and adjust project milestones as needed.

Technology Advocacy and Promotion:

  • Act as the primary advocate for the adoption and effective use of internal platforms and software.
  • Educate and engage employees across the organization about the benefits of new technological solutions.

Innovation Leadership:

  • Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency and add business value.
  • Organize and lead innovation workshops and seminars to encourage creative problem-solving.

Stakeholder Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with stakeholders across all business units.
  • Generate detailed project reports and innovation outcomes for executive review.

Backend Development Support:

  • Collaborate with the frontend developer to support the creation and maintenance of tools and applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Adaptability with Technologies:

  • Be flexible in working with various programming languages and frameworks, as required by different projects. The candidate should be open to learning and adapting to new technologies quickly to meet evolving business needs.

Technical Problem-Solving:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and troubleshooting of backend components, providing efficient and scalable solutions that align with project requirements.

What is required of me?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally within a technology-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (certification in CSM or PMI-ACP is a plus).
  • Strong leadership skills with a knack for strategic planning and problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
